When ONE chooses PEACE

Perhaps this is the answer you may have been awaiting.

In this life we can often mistake suffering as apart of ourself. I often question why people struggle to let go because I  know pain isn't something that feels good, so that brings me to question does one not question or carry the curiosity to wonder what would happen if they chose not to? Throughout my journey I've come to understand how we as humans are able to weave our pain, our agonies into our reality and how if enough years goes by one can no longer know where they end from where they began.

But YAH(GOD) has blessed up with infinite
possibilities to unlock the answers we seek and one of the many ways this is done is through introspections and retrospection through our relationships: be it platonic, romantic, casual, familial, or even professional.

For example; someone who's spent many years being rejected may unconsciously build an identity around being unwanted or a person who has spent years struggling may begin to see struggle as proof of their worth.

When the opportunity for healing arrives, it doesn't threaten to take away the suffering, its threatens the destruction of the identity built around suffering and pain and this is why freedom can feel so terrifying because if you're no longer this damaged person, the proverbial victim, then who are you? what sad story do you have to share with anyone?

Few of us may even question if we're no longer the ones searching for love, who will we be or who are we when love arrives. Some of us may even wonder if love will ever arrive? & honestly these are all questions I probe you to consider.

Many people can say they want love and they want peace, but both can feel unfamiliar and familiarity breeds contempt thus in the end the decision here is to continue to suffer in environments we don't really like, with people we don't feel truly seen intrinsically. Chaos may be painful but for many if not most of us it can feel all too recognizable & if you're not aware the human mind tends to choose familiar pain over unfamiliar FREEDOM.

What can make suffering so seductive is that it offer certainty, staying in the house of misery can become a home if you've lived there long enough. The real challenge here isn't escaping the suffering, the real challenge is grieving the version of yourself that you built around it.

Freedom requires a small death which can feel like a huge sacrifice for many... because it is. This isn't a physical death in anyway shape or form, it's the death to the story that's continuously repeating in the mind.
The story where you're often the victim and never in control, the story that say's "This happened to me, so that's why I'm like this." needs to be changed to the perspective that "these things may have happened to me but"; "it showed me this about myself", "it showed me this about people", "If that didn't happened to me I wouldn't have gained this", "I'm grateful for my strength to overcome things that many have passed on", & " I'M GRATEFUL FOR THE OPPORTUNITY TO LIVE ANOTHER DAY."
Further reclaiming your control of yourself, your life, "YOUR STORY." But this transition is where many get stuck. Choosing suffering is asks nothing new of us, it only ask us to repeat what we already own/know. Because venturing into the unknown can be so frightening, survival mode can feel all too relentless.

Redirecting back to my first example, One who has spent many years believing they're unworthy of love, every rejection that comes along is just a further reinforcement of the story they already tells themselves, it can be painful yes.. but feels like home.

& as I'm writing this I'm hearing Hayley Williams - Negative Self Talk. Which is quite fitting to the topic I highly recommend you check it out.. if not just read the lyrics please.. Anyhow...

BACK TO OUR REGULAR SCHEDULED PROGRAM

Say someone who actually loves one comes along, instead of feeling overcome by a sense of relief, they may feel anxious, suspicious, leery, and every critical about aspects of them. Suddenly they're unfamiliar territory, possibly even enemy territory. One becomes a meerkat on alert, scanning everything they do in the environment like an enemy near their territory.

This may even lead to the decision to slow the bonding process down significantly to possibly even explore other options, as if this is somehow beneficial in actually achieving connections with people whom you're spread thin between. It's a cheap fix to a leaking faucet.

To overcome this psychological process one would have to choose TRUST/FAITH. Requiring vulnerability, and healthy communication, and especially how to receive love without constantly awaiting its disappearance . This isn't only limited to romantic relationships but even platonic, familial, & even professional. But most importantly internally with the relationship one has with YAH(GOD.)

Freedom is something that asks us to become someone we've never been before, the person we always felt in our heart we could be but who we never truly believe we can achieve being. Familiarity on the other hand disguises itself as safety but in reality its a boogie trap to you future suffering and even trauma embedding.

In the end. FREEDOM (which carries peace) come with a very big sacrifice of the "OLD STORY" and everything attached to reinforcing that story one tells themselves into sorrow, shame and agonies and fill it with reality. This is what FREEDOM actually costs, releasing your attachment to suffering, and pain and what it means to you. EVOLVE YOUR MIND AND YOU WILL EVOLVE YOUR VISION. SELAH

YAH BLESSED SO NO STRESS.

WHY WORRY WHEN GOD BLESSED.
