Im in love with my cousin

That saying that goes "When I count my blessings I count you." brings you to the forefront of my mind.

Memories of you entrance me with thoughts, as my sight gazes upon you. What a gracious sight from heaven I am able to witness. At first glance any ordinary passerby would just see another gorgeous woman but for me I feel teleported to a space that owns only you and me. 

And in the ebbs and flows of our moments I'm consoled with your love that feels right at home. I think to myself "what a wonderful day."...Just kidding but MOSTLY I'm not. Truly, for you my thoughts ruminate with gratitude & rhetorical questions.

How blessed I am to call you cousin?, how blessed am I to feel a soulmate bond with my own blood? You're still the little princess in her tiara in the majestic pretty purple with wand in her hand, silver & purple dress with her beautiful smile and long flowing black curly hair. still so royal, so empress-like. It's such an honor to share my life with you, to share THIS LIFE especially with you. I couldn't thank YAH enough for giving me life is such close proximity to a soul I know is meant for me. 

You provide me with so much but 3 importantly is the glimpses into the past the present and the future, something so unique about you make me see it all a little differently. I'm grateful, I'm thankful & I'm blessed.. We're all blessed to share this beautiful world with a soul as deeply and poetically as beautiful as you. 

I looked at you the other day as we sat by prospect park & I could not help but realize how grateful I was to be living in the moment with you. & I felt this again on August 8th while stood at the corner of Nostrand Ave and Midwood St. We stood there laughing and drinking coconuts with my mother, and there it was for me, a feeling of absolute bliss. 

Anyhow I spend most of this just reminiscing on my gratitude but I feel like thats what birthdays are about anyways, celebrating how much of a blessing your are to this world, and how grateful we are to share this life with them.

My Love, my only wish for you is to just continue being you, no matter what, never lose that core, never lose that heart. Happiest Birthday to my Soulmate cousin Nissa Chen-Sue!!
